Following an early morning opening ceremony, hikers will depart for the grottos at Rosh Hanikra.

From the grottos, both groups will hike together on a scenic path along the coast, to the nature reserve of Achziv. From Achziv, we will drive to visit the old city and market in Akko

Thursday, May 14, 2015

After breakfast and check-out from our hotel, we will drive to the starting points of today’s hike.

We will hike Nahal Sarach/Betzet from Granot Ha’Galil to Kibbutz Eilon and then visit the  museum at Kibbutz Hanita. Both groups will meet at Mizpe Hila and drive to our hotel for the night.

We’ll start our day together at the Nimrod Fortress situated in the Golan Heights.

We will then drive to the Banias Nature Reserve and hike along a scenic trail  to the Banias Falls.

Both groups will meet at Kibbutz Snir and drive to Kibbutz Ha’Goshrim for Shabbat.

Shabbat Menuchah! Today can be enjoyed wandering around the pastoral setting of the kibbutz guesthouse and making use of the kibbutz swimming pool.

Sunday, May 17, 2015

Both groups will drive to the Southern Golan Heights, situated just about above the Kinneret.

We will begin the day at the ancient Talmudic village of Katzrin.  From there, they’ll depart for Nahal Yehudiya following a circular path through a water stream. Water shoes are highly recommended for this hike!

Both groups will then meet and drive together to Har Bental overlooking Syria and the Valley of Tears, one of battlefields from the Yom Kippur War.

We will begin the day at the Arbel National Park and then hike along Nahal Arbel to Wadi Hamam. We will conclude our trip with a dinner at Kibbutz Ginosar.

We will hike Nahal Kziv, visit Monfort Castel, and continue to Mizpe Hila.

We will begin their hike at the Nimrod Fortress, heading down to the Banias Springs, and then continuing to the Banias Falls
