Mark Meskin of Los Angeles, while training last summer for California’s Arthritis Foundation’s charity ride, fell and sustained a serious injury. Knowing that he needed time to heal, but really wanting to ride again, “this trip with Ramah, in Israel, to support Tikvah, was the perfect opportunity.”

Mark’s wife Ilana is the current chair of the Ramah California Board, and his two daughters are young Ramah leaders, Diane now living in Israel and Myra returning to camp as a rosh edah this summer. Next week, Myra will attend a National Ramah Rosh Edah training program in Palmer, MA.

As a long time Ramah supporter and avid biker, Mark has thoroughly enjoyed being “back in the saddle” and accomplishing so much together with his new Ramah friends.
