Our final day of the trip was a major success. Our Ramah riders circled the eastern shore of the Kinneret, starting in Ginosar and ending together on the south shore at Tzemach Beach. The ride presented breathtaking views of the Sea of Galilee and the surrounding farms, villages, and beaches.
The hiking groups started in a nature reserve, exploring the vegetation and wildlife of Northern Israel. The advanced group pushed on to Nahal Gilbon, where they were able to go for a dip in the fresh water waterfalls and streams.
As our trip comes to an end, we have joined together on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea to reflect on the tremendous impact this group has made for the Ramah Tikvah Network. Over $600,000 has been raised on this trip alone, with nearly $3,000,000 raised over all six trips. We’re so appreciative of the fundraising and storytelling our participants have accomplished in order to actualize our dreams.
