Among our 40 riders we have one 13-year-old, a tenacious biker from New York, Matthew Goldstein. Matt became a Bar Mitzvah just this past Shabbat at (where else?) Camp Ramah (Berkshires). His family was an important catalyst for the Ramah Galil Ride, and while the youngest, Matt has been keeping up with all the adults on the road.

Imagine our shock and delight this morning when Matt was the first among some 20 of our group to finish the entire climb up Mt. Hermon! He was steady, determined, and unwavering on his bike, finishing to great cheers and high fives by the rest of the group.
