Many of the riders have already met up at Ben Gurion Airport and we are currently on our way to Kibbutz Ein Gev, where we will be staying for a day to orient and acclimate. Already there are amazing connections and reunions being made simply in the moments we spend on the bus together — a mother of a former Ramah camper meeting up with a bunkmate of her son’s years later; riders who spent years living in the same town and didn’t even know it — and we have only scratched the surface. It is thrilling to finally be here in Israel, driving through the rolling hills we will soon be seeing from a bicycle seat, and watching with pride as our fundraising dollars climb past the $196,000 mark. Thank you to all of our supporters for helping us surpass our goal. Follow the blog to stay up-to-date on our progress.
